Abstract

This project was developed with the intention of reducing the time it takes to compile large software projects. The idea was that the system used should be distributed across many computers. The project uses a master and many slaves to distributed the work normally done by one computer. The result of this project showed that the concept works but further development is necessary to make DGCC (Distributed GNU C Compiler) a necessary tool for developers.
